  1. Notice to all Toronto Area Computer Users

  4. A new strain of virus has recently been discovered in the Toronto area
  5. that is not detectable with older virus scanning programs.  The virus
  6. will not damage your hard disk but will attach itself to any .com or .exe
  7. files when you execute the "dir" command.  A discussion with John McAfee
  8. at McAfee Associates indicated that the virus had not yet been reported in
  9. North America and the latest reports of this virus came from the Far East.
  10.  
  11. The virus (known as the [15xx]) has been successfully removed with McFee's 
  12. latest (7.2V77) scan and clean programs.  If you do not have this current 
  13. version, please obtain a copy and check your floppies and hard disks.  While
  14. the virus is not harmful, it does replicate itself QUICKLY!
  15.
